Twisted Flying Festival: Hot Air Balloon Glow, Live Music, & Inflatables

Our favorite event is back – Twisted Flying! Join us for a day time helicopter rides & an evening of live music, family fire pits, handcrafted wines, draft hard ciders, Luv’s Shaved Ice, Food & hot air balloons twinkling into the night!

Twisted Flying – Hot Air Balloon Glow….. You have two opportunities to see the hot air balloons glow at dusk. Balloons are stationary for a night twinkle.

Friday 12-9PM

Inflatables include Mega Obstacle Course & Sports Bounce House

KC Helicopter Tours- Grab a helicopter ride over our vineyard or into Lawrence Downtown. Ride costs determined by vendor.

Our outdoor space has plenty of seating, but we recommend bringing a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the hot air balloon glow. The balloons will set up and glow around dusk-it’s a beautiful experience up close. Watch them twinkle under the Kansas sky.

Parking is $10 per vehicle – cash or credit paid at the gate upon arrival. Go ahead and sign-up here and be sure to tell us how many people are coming with you! The events of the day and evening are weather dependent–since we can’t control the weather or wind our goal is to put on a great experience while safety being our top priority.

Reminders: No outside food or drinks allowed, no outside drink containers or coolers. Leashed pets are welcome. Family friendly-all ages event. No smoking vineyard.

Rent-A-Pit

Fire pits can be rented for a set amount of time on Friday or Saturday night. We have eight fire pits available for rent so grab one as they go quickly! They’re $5 5 to rent for the two hour slot (wood included & 1 Smore’s Kit).

We also have additional s’mores bags available for $10 that include graham crackers, Hershey’s chocolate bars, marshmallows, and pokers. You will need to leave your Driver’s License to check in for your fire-pit.
